Oh, and my baby smells like a fish due to some freakish yeast that feeds on the neck creases of innocent babies. Just thought you might want to know.

Freakish bacteria is now a part of your life. It's a mama thing. I know this makes your day.
Citricidal liquid contentrate - it's grapefruit seed extract and kills yeast on contact (what I had to take internally when on the three week anti-candida thing). Nothing on the bottle that says it's unfit for use on cute babies.
Oh, fun. Have you had the thrill of thrush yet? It is particularly lovely when you are nursing because you get it on your nipples too. Burns like a son of a bitch! Makes you feel sooo bad for baby and wonder what it must feel like to have it in you mouth!
You can use a zinc oxide based diaper ointment on the neck folds to keep them oogh free. We used to have the same problem here, too.
If thats the worst smell your baby smells like then you are doing good. I am in an ongoing battle with the stink.
Oh, niiiiice. That's just wrong. Babies are supposed to smell great (except when they have those dirty diapers). So sorry!! Hope the smell goes away soon.
